In this interactive lecture we:
- Uncover the science of breath, known as "Pranayam."
- Learn basic physiology in order to understand why this is such a powerful science.
- Play with a number of breath exercises.
- Introduce a Yogic term called "Prana," or life energy.
- Disocver how it all relates to grace.
About Your Teacher:
Katy Willis will never forget the wonder and awe that bubbled up inside her when she took her first Anatomy & Physiology class and began learning about the human body (she used to work as a cardiac nurse before starting her family).
Now, after 1200 hours of Yoga Teacher certifications and 500 hours of experience teaching yoga and meditation, she passes on that same wonder and awe by tying science and physiology into her yoga lectures.
